FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
Every time I play on the map, a lot of players tend to complain about how small the map is and the map gets rtv'd a lot(most votes are successful,) so I think the map should be removed.
Re: FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
Agreed. Everyone rtv'd within 2 boss rounds last time we were there.
Re: FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
I'm on the ship with this. I never see it too much but when I do it's always skipped and way too small to play on. Doesn't leave enough space for most hails.
Re: FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
I agree with the reasons presented, however I vote we do NOT remove this map because this is one of the few small maps in rotation that help keep the server alive during the down hours when there's only 2-16 players on.

This reason is valid, if Backlot was removed, the people who like to play small maps with low population in the server will not join, and thus low population servers (Server #2 and Server #3) will be empty past afternoon.Hylie wrote:I agree with the reasons presented, however I vote we do NOT remove this map because this is one of the few small maps in rotation that help keep the server alive during the down hours when there's only 2-16 players on.

Do not hate the map but, I do not want to play it either. Many people leave if it is picked. Might be a good idea to be rid of it.

Like what Dark said, I've seen it lose players more than actually gaining players. Maybe it's different on #2 and #3 but it decreases player activity in #1.Zethy wrote:This reason is valid, if Backlot was removed, the people who like to play small maps with low population in the server will not join, and thus low population servers (Server #2 and Server #3) will be empty past afternoon.Hylie wrote:I agree with the reasons presented, however I vote we do NOT remove this map because this is one of the few small maps in rotation that help keep the server alive during the down hours when there's only 2-16 players on.

I say leave it since it seems more popular on 2 and 3 instead of 1.

Re: FF2 Map Removal Suggestion: vsh_backlot_event
There's nothing horribly wrong or broken about this map, plus it's small so it's good when server 2 or 3 has a low population. People can always rtv if they don't like it.
