I wasn't sure where to post it. Either here, either off topic.

Anyways, I have noticed some people can write beautiful texts, poems and such.. I really wanted to make a thread to see if anyone is interested in sharing them.

And I don't expext that many people will post anything, but hey. It should be fine. =Y

Darwin taught us "Survival of the Fittest."
As intellectuals we must refuse to live in a world governed by brain dead neanderthols who deny the very science that gave them life in the first place.
I dream of a future where Carl Sagan's name is spoken with the same reverense as Jesus Christ, where Neil deGrase Tyson is considered a paragon for human virtue, not a conom-denying homophobic pedophile in the Vatican.
I dream of a world where people look to Reddit before they open a bible, where Wikipedia is the source of the ten commandments, where the only wars occur in the World of Warcraft.
All my life religious people have tried to force their beliefws down my throat while I just politely stood by without calling their hateful views out.

Well that stops today. Today, we fight back.

That actually brought a tear to my eye because of how amazing that was

I hope both of these posts are sarcasm.

I write a lot myself but I'm not willing to share anything with this community.

Charles Bukowski is one of my favorite poets though, I own most of his collections.
He was an angry and lonely alcoholic chain smoker his whole life and wrote a lot of edgy things in his lifetime.
Here's one of those poems

Alone With Everybody
Spoiler
the flesh covers the bone
and they put a mind
in there and
sometimes a soul,
and the women break
vases against the walls
and the men drink too
much
and nobody finds the
one
but keep
looking
crawling in and out
of beds.
flesh covers
the bone and the
flesh searches
for more than
flesh.

there's no chance
at all:
we are all trapped
by a singular
fate.

nobody ever finds
the one.

the city dumps fill
the junkyards fill
the madhouses fill
the hospitals fill
the graveyards fill

nothing else
fills.

Hateful, but expected: Trollers. Please, let me tell you this: "Bananas" is for me not a text, but a word. "Anime tiddies" is for me not a text, but 2 words. A text is for me a couple sentence with SENCE into it.

Example:
Spoiler
I who is alone
Wrong for long
in my inner earth

Waiting for the eternity of my eternal
for grapes to ripe in their wrapper

No more rage in race
to talk to a wary soul
to see what I want her to see
the wants of our need
To receive a huge hug from a hallow hut
To wage war
I must wail this peace
Can now sleep with zero aim
in the amazement of life that preceded my being
I who is alone

Saying a banana has no place in poetry is an obscenely short sighted thing to say. A banana has inherent poetic qualities. The banana is associated with not knowing where or when to bring a production to a close. This stems from the classic proverb (poetry for you illiterate types) where a child asserts their ability to spell the word 'banana,' but isn't sure when to stop. In computer engineering, there is something called the banana problem of an algorithm. This occurs with poorly defined or incorrect termination conditions, or in discussing the evolution of a design that may be succumbing to featuritis. Poetry is intended to make one consider an alternate way of thinking, and in making one not only look at a problem in a different way, but coining a terminology ABOUT THINKING in a different way, makes the notion of a banana not only a significant literary device in poetry, it makes it an instrumental device in poetry.
And don't even get me started on the cultural impact and significance of anime tiddies.
