Permanent Ban Appeal

Post by Limeerr »

Your Steam Community Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Limeerr/
Your Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:546508462

Which Admin Punished You: Infernox-Ratchet
Type of punishment(ban, mute, silence or gag): Ban
Server where you received the punishment:disc 24/7 idle/trade #1 mge !duel

How long they punished you for: Permanent

Reason why they punished you: Hacking

Reason why you think this punishment is unfair/uncalled for/biased, etc. I wasn't hacking at all. I was just dueling this dude on the server and I randomly got banned. banned for aimbot but I don't see the demos on the source ban proving I was. Either way it wouldn't help because I wasn't cheating I was just trying to get better by dueling a good player.

Reason why we should remove the punishment: The ban is false and I was not hacking.

So, I was the admin that banned you.

I was tipped off by Stessia, another admin who was also watching you. Two or three other regulars noted that not only were you tracking opposite team members while they were hiding but your crosshair was at least 4-5 inches off when fighting and your opponents still took damage. One could attribute that to lag but you exhibited no signs of major lag where that'd affect my observation of you.

And for the next point. Not only did you have low hours in the game (not even reaching 24) but this is apparently your only steam account according to your IP address and your statement on Discord. In addition, its jarring to watch not even a day-old player dominate players who all have at least 2000 hours in the game multiple times in a row. While hours shouldn't be a metric to determine if someone's hacking, I find it suspicious for one with low hours to shutdown players with significantly higher experience unless they have a smurf account which again runs counter to what you said to me and the other moderators.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of a doubt but after watching you and getting similar statements from regulars and another admin, I find it hard to remove the ban.

Normally we do ask admins to record a demo in case their punishment is appealed, especially for hacking bans.

However, after reviewing this case the ban will stay and here are the reasons why.

1. Multiple admins witnessed your game play and determined you to be suspect.
2. You are on a fresh account with less than 20 hours on TF2.
3. Your account is associated with many suspect people and hackers.

Also this person on your friends list has screen shots of them hacking in CS:GO with you commenting on them:

Here is another screenshot from I guess a alt of the above account hacking:

That is enough for me to leave the ban on. Please find somewhere else to play.
