Newest Metroid is fun, Smash 4 is fun if you don't own a Wii U, OoT and Majora's Mask 3D are both great remakes of classic N64 Zelda games, A Link Between Worlds is pretty fun (it's where I get my name Ravio from actually), Bravely Default is fun, and heard good things about it's sequel, Bravely Second. One of the games I liked that I haven't seen suggested was Kid Icarus: Uprising, was a lot of fun. There's also the MGS3 Remake, which is really good if you haven't played MGS3 (faithful remake, good controls, fun game still). I might suggest holding off until the new pokemon, unless you plan on completing it relatively soon. Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon comes out November 17th it looks like.

How could I have forgotten about that game? Glorious gameplay and even better characters. Definite yes.

The Persona Series. Very good story and full of puzzles and game play.
